It is my great pleasure on behalf of The Corn Mill Theatre & Arts Centre to extend a warm Carrigallen welcome to all our participating groups, our adjudicator Evelyn O’Sullivan and of course you our valued patrons to our 21st Annual One Act Drama Festival from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th November, commencing at 7pm (Friday & Saturday) and 2pm (Sunday).

Adjudicator | Evelyn O’Sullivan
Evelyn has an honours M.A. in Drama and Performance from UCD. She has a diploma in Performance from LAMDA and a teaching Diploma in Speech and Drama from the London College of Music.
Evelyn was recently appointed examiner with the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Evelyn is an award-winning actor and director. In 2015 she performed the titular role in “Shirley Valentine”, reprising the role due to demand in 2016.
Evelyn has directed plays for many years as part of her Drama Dynamics School across all age groups and experiences. She is passionate about bringing drama to new audiences and performers and sees the valuable work of the All Ireland Drama Festival as essential in this role.
Evelyn was thrilled to be selected for ADA in 2022. She relishes the opportunity of getting on the road and meeting the dedicated drama groups flying the flag of Ireland’s vibrant Amateur Dramatic heritage.
